Landscaping of a private garden

The landscape redevelopment project began with the recovery of the original design from the end of the 19th century of the private park which extends for approximately 3 hectares, in Cadenabbia, from the lake shore towards the interior and, at the same time, led to the creation of new use spaces in the immediate surroundings of the villa.

The monumental entrance, newly built, following the restoration approach that involved the various buildings, becomes an element of great visibility from the outside; the two fountains, the swimming pool and the waterfall create a scenography of water and lights; the flowering plantations create colorful backdrops at different times of the year depending on the blooms; the pergola viewpoint is configured as a large open space from which to admire the swimming pool and the panorama of the lake.

The part of the park behind the villa hosts groves, an orchard, a garden for cut flowers and an olive grove arranged along the slope of the land in accordance with the pre-existing vegetation.
